Get In The Stu With Me
Recording Sessions: Professional tracking at Headspace Studios for vocals, instruments, and full projects. I’ll help you capture your best take and leave with a session ready to mix.
Production 101: One-on-one lessons in EDM or beatmaking. We’ll cover drums, basslines, sound design, and arrangement, so you can finally finish your tracks.
DJ Lessons: Beginner and advanced sessions, taught from nearly a decade behind the decks. We’ll start with beatmatching and transitions and move on to building sets and reading a crowd.
Every session is tailored to where you’re at and where you want to go.

Who Am I?
I’m Alex Norman, a DJ, producer, and recording engineer based in Vancouver. Music has been my life for close to a decade, from DJing around the city to making bass house and club tracks, some of which have found homes on dance labels in the US and Europe.
Most days you’ll find me at Headspace Studios, recording artists or working on my own music. I’ve been lucky to work in some great rooms around Vancouver, including The Warehouse Studio, and to collaborate with talented artists along the way. I also host Off Piste, a small event series I started a couple of years ago.
More than anything, I love helping people bring their ideas to life, whether that’s a first recording, a first beat, or a first DJ set.
